Abstract: This study explored the mechanism of the organizational climate of square dance towards the subjective well-being of the elderly. A total of 366 elderly participants of square dance participated in this study. The results showed that square dance organizational climate could affect subjective well-being, and self-esteem and group identification act as mediators. In addition, the mediating effect involves two ways, one is the single mediating effect of self-esteem and the other is the chain mediating effect of group identification towards self-esteem. Consequently, we can facilitate the elderly's positive and healthy aging and strengthen their subjective well-being by improving the organizational climate of square dance.
