A Study on Influencing Factors on Teacher’s Professional Identity

Abstract: In order to evaluate the present state of teacher's professional identity,177 teachers in elementary schools and middle schools were surveyed by a questionnaire designed by the authors.The results revealed that the overall level of Chinese teacher's professional identity was positive;there were significant differences between male teachers and female teachers,between elementary school teachers and middle school teachers,between different titles of professional positions,between different professional motivation teachers,between different salary satisfaction teachers.
