Experimental Study on Metacognition Training to Improve Ability of Middle School Student Solving Mathematical Application Problem

Abstract: Self-made teaching materials about thinking strategic training and metacognitive controlling booklets were adopted to train the second grade junior middle school student on the thinking strategies and metacognitive controlling in solving mathematical application problem.The results showed that the thinking strategies and metacognitive controlling training could improve the students'ability in solving specific subject problem.
